Hi, I'm Ryland . By day, I'm the Lead Video Editor of an online unlimited stock footage subscription service, Storytape. By night (and any other time of the day), I'm a strong advocate for The Stoplight Approach. I'm also a Psuedo Author and General Editor of The Stoplight Approach for Teachers and The Stoplight Approach for Parents. I aim to foster movements of positive change to create safe places for children to thrive. I live in two different worlds: Uganda and Canada. I love teaching, travelling, learning new cultures, and working with children. My hobbies include playing piano and guitar, spending time with friends, and playing board/card games. My desire in life is to follow Jesus, pointing others towards Him.

Children around the world grow up feeling unsafe, which inhibits their optimal growth and development. The Stoplight Approach trains and mentors teachers, parents, and caretakers in self-awareness and behaviour management tools that create safe environments. By using The Stoplight Approach, children grow up feeling safe at school, at home, and in their communities, thriving at their optimal level.
